This is great.
Weekend opens in the United States today!
The public and critical response has been overwhelming, topped off by this wonderfully written review in the New York Times by A.O. Scott -
http://movies.nytimes.com/2011/09/23/movies/weekend-directed-by-andrew-haigh-review.html
The whole Weekend team is stunned, and so very grateful, for all the support that we have received for the film so far, and we really hope you’ll go and see the film in a theatre near you (and take your friends).
Thanks to mafeed for the amazing Gifs!
